Mercantil Commercebank Contributes $5,000 to Broward Housing Solutions

Mercantil Commercebank N.A. recently contributed $5,000 to Broward Housing Solutions in support of its Rental Subsidy Program, which offers a bridge from supervised housing to independent living.

Broward Housing Solutions administers the program in partnership with the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Substance Abuse Mental Health Program Office and the Broward County Human Resources Department. Because of funders like Mercantil Commercebank, Broward Housing Solutions and its partners are able to offer long-term, transitional and emergency assistance to mental health consumers in need of housing.

Broward Housing Solutions’ Rental Housing Program provides apartment and townhouse units located across Broward County, accessible to public transportation, shopping, employment opportunities and services.
