Rental Housing Program

Broward Housing Solutions® provides independent, permanent, and supportive housing to persons diagnosed with mental illness in rental apartment units across Broward County.

Properties are accessible to transportation, shopping, employment opportunities and services. Based on the tenant’s housing needs, one, two and three bedroom properties are available in various cities.

Through the referral and support of community-based mental health providers, Broward Housing Solutions® is able to offer affordable subsidized rents to each tenant and their family, based on only 30 percent of their gross monthly income. Various programs and grants supplement this program.
